PCB
assembly

SMT, through-hole and mixed-technology PCBA to IPC-A-610, Class 2 as standard and Class 3 for high-reliability programmes. AOI on every build, X-ray for BGAs and lead-free (RoHS) as standard.

02

Box build and
system integration

We build your PCBA into a finished, tested product, with enclosures, harnesses, displays and sub-assemblies. Our Haddenham site leads on high-volume box build, functional test and 3PL despatch.

Cable and
harness assembly

Ribbon, multi-core, coaxial and overmoulded cable assemblies built to your drawings and tested before they leave us. Made in-house alongside PCBA and box build, so harness routing fits the enclosure first time.

Electronics manufacturing

A: Contract electronics manufacturing is outsourcing electronics assembly and production to a specialist manufacturer. NOTE in the UK handles PCB assembly, box build, testing, component sourcing and fulfilment, so OEMs can focus on product design, sales and customers.

A: PCBA (printed circuit board assembly) is populating a bare PCB with components, using surface mount (SMT), through-hole or both. Box build is the next stage: integrating the finished PCBA with enclosures, harnesses, displays, connectors and power supplies to make a complete, tested product. We offer both on their own or as part of a full turnkey programme.

A: Solder paste printing, automated placement, reflow and selective soldering, with AOI on every build and X-ray for BGA and hidden-joint checks. We work to IPC-A-610 Class 2 as standard and Class 3 for high-reliability programmes. Lead-free (RoHS and REACH) is standard, with leaded processes where specified.

A: Everything from low-volume engineering prototypes and NPI builds to high-volume serial production. Our six UK sites in Windsor, Haddenham, Basildon, Wolverhampton, Hook and Poynton give multi-site capacity, and our 37,000 sq ft Haddenham site is set up for high-volume box build and system integration.

A: All six UK sites are certified to ISO 9001. ISO 13485 is held at Basildon and Wolverhampton; ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 at Windsor, Haddenham, Hook and Poynton; and AS9100 and ISO 27001 at Hook and Poynton (STI). We apply IPC-A-610 workmanship across all PCBA programmes.
