NOTE in the UK is the UK operation of NOTE, a Northern European and Asian contract electronics manufacturer listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and a member of the UN Global Compact since 2011. Across six UK sites (Windsor, Haddenham, Basildon, Wolverhampton, Hook and Poynton) we build electronics for MedTech, Industrial, Communications, GreenTech and Security & Defence customers. NOTE Group emissions totalled 48,212 tCO₂e in FY2025, 59% of Group energy came from renewable or fossil-free sources, and NOTE is targeting a 42% cut in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030. Our performance is published every year in the NOTE Annual and Sustainability Report.

What we are doing

    Key figures: NOTE Group emissions were 48,212 tCO₂e in FY2025 (market-based, all scopes). Scope 1 direct emissions were 126 tCO₂e (0.3%), Scope 2 purchased energy was 1,586 tCO₂e (3.3%) and Scope 3 value chain emissions were 46,501 tCO₂e (96.4%).

    Our goal is an accident-free workplace at every site. We work under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the NOTE Group Occupational Health and Safety Policy, with regular risk assessments, training and ongoing consultation with colleagues.

    Our Code of Conduct sets clear expectations on honesty, fairness and respect. Clear reporting lines, active boards and open decision-making keep us accountable to customers, partners and colleagues.

    Our partnership with
    Vi Agroforestry

    In 2025, NOTE planted 10,272 trees with Vi Agroforestry, restoring 188 hectares of land and positively impacting more than 1,500 people. Vi Agroforestry works with farming communities in East Africa, planting trees alongside crops for healthier soils, bigger harvests and stronger livelihoods. Since 1983 it has planted more than 165 million trees.

      A: Yes. NOTE has been a member of the UN Global Compact since 2011, committing to its ten principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. NOTE also publishes a CEO Statement of Support for the Women’s Empowerment Principles.

      A: Our Windsor, Haddenham, Hook (STI) and Poynton (STI) sites hold ISO 14001 for environmental management and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety. All six UK sites hold ISO 9001. Across NOTE Group, 10 of 12 plants hold ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and the target is every plant by 2027.
