30 years of dedicated service

For more than thirty years, Helen Cook has shown the spirit and values that make NOTE Stonehouse special. Helen joined us in April 1990 as a Senior Inspector. She earned a reputation for her keen eye and strong focus on quality in a short period. She led Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) lines as a Team Leader. Later, she became a Senior SMT Inspector. She ensured that every product leaving our doors met our customers’ high standards. From early hand-soldered prototypes to today’s automated builds, Helen was there. She learned and adapted at every step. Then, she shared her knowledge with everyone on the shop floor.

But titles alone do not capture Helen’s contribution. She maintained a vigilant watch over best practices. She stayed late to help new starters with inspection stations. Her calm humour lifted everyone’s spirits on the shift. In a changing world, Helen offered something rare. She gave consistency, reliability, and pride in her work. Her influence is clear today. We see it in the careful processes she improved and in the trust our customers have in every board we ship.

This month, we celebrate Helen’s incredible 30-year journey. We also honour all our long-serving employees. They help make us successful. We were sad to say goodbye when Helen retired in February 2021. Her legacy is clear. Her influence shows in the standards she set, the colleagues she mentored, and the caring culture that still exists at NOTE Stonehouse.

Thank you, Helen, for three remarkable decades of service, leadership, and friendship. Your professionalism has left an indelible mark on us all. We wish you happiness and success in your upcoming adventures. We are sure your story will inspire future generations at NOTE Stonehouse and beyond.
