Founded in 1983 as Speedboard Ltd, the company has grown and evolved over the years. A major turning point came in 2003 with a management buy-out, which led to the rebranding as Speedboard Assembly Services. This marked the start of a new phase, allowing the company to expand its capabilities in electronics manufacturing.
In 2018, Speedboard joined the NOTE Group, a leading Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) partner in northern Europe. NOTE Group operates advanced facilities across Europe and Asia, producing high-quality electronics for a wide range of customers. Following the acquisition, Speedboard rebranded as NOTE Windsor Ltd in 2021, aligning with NOTE Group’s global standards and vision.
