An established Contract Electronics Manufacturer
NOTE UK has a long and rich history in contract electronics manufacturing. Take a look into our history and understand how NOTE grew into the business we are today.
NOTE Stonehouse
Proqual, founded in 1973, a technically competent, flexible EMS supplier located near Cirencester, was acquired by NOTE Group in 2008. The business focused on services early in the product life cycle such as prototype manufacturing and advanced electronics manufacturing in smaller series. NOTE moved the factory to its current location in Stonehouse towards the end of 2008.
NOTE Windsor
Starting out as Speedboard Ltd providing PCBs and contract electronic manufacturing (CEM) services, there followed a management buy-out in 2003 by Richard Watson and Neil Owen and Speedboard became Speedboard Assembly Services. Serving key market sectors, including Aerospace & Defence, Transport, Safety & Security, Communications & Broadcast, Industrial & Instrumentation and Medical, offering the entire range of CEM and EMS services from our facility in Windsor.
NOTE Haddenham
Starting out as iPro Solutions Ltd in 2001, the company moved to Haddenham Business Park in 2003. After achieving ISO9001 in 2008 and ISO14001 in 2015, the Haddenham facility is now a large-scale operation offering total end-to-end solutions for our customers. The 33000 sq. ft of factory space includes: extensive material handling for off-shore manufacturing and supply of mechanical and electronics as well as the substantial on-site final assembly of electromechanical units across all sectors.
NOTE Basildon
In 1985 DVR started as a small, family-run business by designing and developing a heat transfer press for imprinting names, numbers and logos onto fabric – a design which is still used all over the world today. Since then the company has grown steadily to become one of the leading Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS) and Contract Electronics Manufacturer (CEM) providers. NOTE Group acquired DVR LTD in 2023.
