To Move Forward We Must Give Back
Sustainability is central to NOTE’s operations. As a trusted manufacturing partner, we prioritise environmental and social responsibility for customers, employees, and future generations. Since 2011, NOTE has been a proud member of the UN Global Compact, committing to ten principles on human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption.

Our Environmental Commitments
NOTE has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable manufacturing practices.
Carbon Neutral Operations
Scope 1 & 2 – Our Own Operations
We aim to achieve 100% carbon neutrality across all NOTE factories by:
- Driving energy efficiency in every facility
- Using renewable or fossil-free electricity wherever possible
- Maintaining full transparency on emissions
Full Transparency on Emissions
Scope 3 – Our Value Chain
We are expanding climate reporting to cover the entire value chain, in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. This includes:
- Transparent reporting for customers and stakeholders
- Mapping emissions from suppliers, transport, and product life cycles
Health & Safety Commitment – ISO 45001 Certification
Scope 4
All NOTE factories certified to ISO 45001 within two years of acquisition. Focus areas:
- Preventive work and employee health
- Safe, inclusive, and resilient work environment
In addition to the active measures aimed at achieving climate-neutral production, as part of our environmental responsibility, NOTE has chosen to invest in sustainability projects in East Africa.

Health and Safety
At NOTE UK, we place the health, safety and well-being of our employees – as well as visitors, contractors, and the public – at the heart of everything we do. Guided by the UK Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and our global Occupational Health & Safety Policy, we are committed to delivering an accident-free workplace across all our sites.
Our approach includes regular risk assessments, comprehensive training, and ongoing consultation with employees to prevent ill health and accidents. We ensure safe equipment, materials and work systems, backed by accurate incident reporting and continuous review of controls and outcomes. As part of the NOTE Group, we aim for ISO 45001 certification across all units within two years of joining, reinforcing our dedication to best-in-class safety standards.

Ethics and Governance
At NOTE UK, doing the right thing isn’t just a policy – it’s how we work every day. We follow a clear Code of Conduct that promotes honesty, fairness, and respect in everything we do, from how we treat people to how we manage resources. Our commitment covers human rights, safe working conditions, and zero tolerance for corruption.
Strong governance keeps us accountable. With clear structures, active boards, and transparent decision-making, we make sure our business runs responsibly and sustainably. This approach builds trust with our customers, partners, and employees – because integrity is at the heart of NOTE.
