The open day brought together customers, suppliers, partners and industry stakeholders to celebrate both the proud heritage of Kasdon Electronics and the exciting future that lies ahead as the business enters a new era.
At the heart of the event was the unveiling of a substantial expansion programme that has strengthened the site’s manufacturing capabilities and positioned it for continued growth across the Defence, Industrial, Communications and MedTech sectors.
Recent investments at the Wolverhampton facility include:
• A new 7,000 sq ft manufacturing extension
• Additional SMT production capacity
• Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) technology
• X-ray inspection capability
• Vapour phase soldering technology
• Flying probe test equipment
• Strengthened operational leadership through 2 key management appointments
