It’s been quite the few months across NOTE UK. Between ribbon cuttings, new equipment, industry events and welcoming new colleagues, “busy” has been putting it mildly.

We’ve pulled the highlights together in the Summer 2026 edition of NOTEWORTHY – and you can download the full edition at the bottom of this page. Here’s a taste of what’s been happening.

One building, hundreds of memories

More than 175 customers, suppliers and colleagues gathered in Wolverhampton to mark the official opening of the new extension at Kasdon, a NOTE company. The space adds 7,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity – but the day was really about the people, some of whom have spent decades building the reputation that brought everyone there in the first place.

As Kasdon begins its next chapter as part of NOTE – soon to be NOTE (Wolverhampton) – it felt like the perfect moment to look back while looking ahead.

New equipment, more capability

Across NOTE UK we’ve kept investing in the kit that helps us build complex, high-reliability products.

At Windsor, a brand-new vapour phase soldering system has joined the production floor, achieving void levels below 1% – ideal for demanding, high-reliability applications. Alongside it sits a new flying probe tester, a new automated optical inspection (AOI) system, a new X-ray machine and an additional SMT line.

In short: more capacity and more capability across everything from PCBA through to full box build.

From Wolverhampton to London

No sooner had the Wolverhampton stand been packed away than it was on its way south to Hardware Pioneers in London. Over two busy days we shared ideas with engineers, innovators, designers and start-ups working on the next generation of technology – and had plenty of genuine conversations about how NOTE can help turn product ideas into reality.

Now comes the fun part: turning those conversations into future partnerships.

Growth across the wider group

It isn’t only the UK that’s expanding. The newly extended NOTE Torsby facility in Sweden reflects the same continued investment right across the NOTE Group – a shared commitment to growing capability for the customers we work with.

And a few new faces

We’ve welcomed several new colleagues across NOTE UK over the past few months – on the shop floor, in engineering, in operations and in the office. You’ll meet them inside the full edition, along with five things you (probably) didn’t know about our Kasdon Managing Director Steve Stockley, and our Tea Break quiz to keep you on your toes.
